BITCH

no, its not what i’m calling you
its what i’m about to do
bitch

and I know about a women’s perception
or should I say misconception
or even deception

and I could have taken back the night
if I controlled the one we spent together

and if I was 2 feet taller
I could tell her she looks better
in high heels

but all I can see on my desk
is manchu wok, ramen noodles
and regret

like my birthday last year
macaroni and powdered cheese--
a high school memory
I can do without

you

made me a man on your living room floor
and know I can taste the estrogen on your breath
like a rough draft of how alone you were when you were
apart
of me.

but that was the point of this poem
me not you

my turn

to steal my emotions

away from this paper
