Her poem Two Fences appears in the web edition of PGI #6

I haven't quit my day -- I am the director of service development for Citibus, the transit system in Lubbock, Texas.

My first published poem was on an in-bus sign, as part of a promotion for National Poetry Month. Several of our employees submitted that we posted in the buses. The editorial board (me) was pretty tough and I feel honored that my poem was selected. I don't know how many of our passengers read the poems, but at least we gave them the oppurtunity.

I never intended to be a poet, but somehow can't help it. What can you do?

Future plans include more poetry on buses.
