Virgil Suarez was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1962 and moved to the United States in 1974. He holds degrees from Cal State Long Beach and Louisiana State University. He is the author of four novels, three collections of poetry, and one collection of short fiction. His work has been included in hundreds of magazines, journals, and anthologies.
