The Making of PGI #7

As soon as Sachin left for Mexico, art maven Sara mayer knew the ladies had a chance to make the dreams of handmade covers for pgi come true. In came miriam and her wacky Rorschach paintings, which (due to their irreproducibility and interesting makings for bindings) sara fell in love with instantly.

After getting all of the interior content done, we printed each of these covers one by one, each lovingly squirted with blue, then yellow paint in various dot configurations, and pressed the two parts of the cover together.

Sara and Miri varied on their favorites - from the more complex covers with wild spirals and
wing-like textures to the simpler lobster or crab-footprint like dot covers, but whether yours is yannic or phallic, expressionism or abstracted, we guarantee you will love owning one of these completely unique pieces of art packed full of prime quality poetry and interviews. PGI would like to thank Full Circle Galleria and Seven Breaths Studios for letting us their space and supplies. Also thank to laima razkalns for helping out with the second batch of PGI #7 covers.
