Get PGI into your local bookstores We have created a press packet that we are asking you to drop off at your local bookstore. The press packet consists of a brief synopsis of our company and our products, an invoice to order titles, as well as a sample Poetry Journal. You can drop this packet off and get the name and contact information of the head buyer at the store and pass this information along to us. We will then follow up with the bookstore. We will give you a free copy of a poetry journal for helping us. If you can't make it out to a bookstores, you can click here to suggest some local bookstores that might be interested in our titles. If you own a bookstore, coffeeshop, bar, restaurant etc. and would like to order books or poetry journals to sell, please click here. So far we have interviewed Pulitzer Prize winning poet Richard Eberhart in PGI Volume 1 Number 1 and the widely published poet and author Liz Rosenberg in PGI Volume 2 Number 1. These postcards have poetry by Jeremy Rosenberg, Sophia Ali, Jennie Metzger, and John Ejaife II. They also have photographs by Preeya Pandya, Sophia Ali, and Yogesh Chawla. Please feel free to download this PDF file with all four postcards. You can then print the file out and cut out the postcards and then mail them out to your family and friends or hand them out on your local street corner. handouts.pdf (right click, then choose save target as or save link as) This PDF file is pretty big and we are working on making a smaller one that we should have up on our web site pretty soon. Link to our Banner from Your Web Page Now we know how irritating and distracting advertising has become on the Internet or in America for that matter. The other day I was reading my Rolling Stone and I got so fed up with all the ads that I ripped them all out and mailed them back to Rolling Stone. When they mailed me the magazine it had eighty pages; after I was done with it there were only 45 pages. How ironic that their motto is 'all the news that fits'. Well now back to the original point. We were very torn when it came to how our company would deal with advertising. We decided that if were going to do any advertising that we would not be trying to push or sell a product rather we would simply display some of the art and poetry that we published while informing people what our company does. This is the spirit under which this little banner below was created. We hope that it will add artistic value to your web site and not annoy, distract, or market to the visitors to your site.
