JOIN YOUR LOCAL REVOLUTION!
On Saturday July 26th, Madison Poets stormed the Farmer's Market and bombarded the fruit shoppers and confused onlookers with metaphors and words. The poets organized the coup in the secret underground Zapatista hideouts located in the outer reaches of the Isthmus. The poets belted out their words to an occasional 'bling bling', a pensive 'hmmm', but mostly to the overwhelming delight of the fired up revolutionaries.

Although there was an unhappy Farmer's Market manager and a jolly old cop who could not contain his amusement, the event was a smashing success. Come to the next Coup and bring your words, your art, and your sense of community. To find out about the next Coup, keep your ear to the street for the rumors and rumblings.
