I saw happy today
Glorious in its
Touch
And tease
And I saw a little girl today
Hop two-footed
Over a puddle
In her bright purple
Holding the hand
of her dad
And I saw a blue Chevy today
That reminded me of my dad and
how disappointed
his voice would be
That I used to be happy
I used to be little
I used to smile more
And I wondered
If I could go back
